About

Hi, I'm Gail, and I have a passion for helping young adults reach their life goals with minimal stress. Many times young adults have trouble adjusting to life changes such as graduating from college, getting a new job, or getting married. A lot of the times when young people feel anxious, they're also feeling depressed about themselves concerning their goals.

If you find yourself worried about career success, making the right choices, while experiencing negative thinking and self-doubt, you need to talk to someone who can help you through it. These are common symptoms of anxiety and depression, which will be addressed in a therapy session with me.

I know from my life experience of being a minority, woman, mother, wife, and professional, you have to learn to love yourself and be confident to be successful. Therapy can help you feel more confident in yourself to achieve more in your life.

My approach is empathetic and straightforward with respect for different cultures and their values. After 30 years in the field of clinical therapy, I use mindfulness at the core of my therapy techniques. You can achieve mindfulness by focusing your attention on the present moment.

I also use a variety of other techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, defining effective coping strategies, person-centered therapy, stress management, addressing poor sleep and eating habits, self-worth building, and relaxation techniques.
